Collecting Copepods ~ ?!?

BEHAVIOR AND REPRODUCTION
Many free-living copepods gather food from the water by using their antennae and maxillipeds. The swimming movements of these appendages help to create a flow of food-carrying water toward their mouths.

Copepods are those little critters that are on the surface of a salmon. It is a beneficial host.
You''ll have a captain & deck hand to assist you as MUCH or as LITTLE as you want. Fishing only 4 anglers per vessel - 1 crew member for every 2 anglers on board.
Tony Bolobnow - Only one photo which is too bad...

Not a huge king - but delicious!

"KEEPER" King Salmon in the Sitka area range in weights from 18lbs. (18 lbs. is actually thought to be of average weight. However you may anticipate harvesting Kings from 22 - 38 lb range typically.

Yes there are bigger Kings - but it is not the average- this King is a younger feeder King - about 18 lbs.)

regardless - it's a nice one - firm fleshed - brilliant in color!

HI TIM AND OCTOBRE.

WANTED YOU TO KNOW WE MADE IT HOME ABOUT MIDNITE LAST NITE WITH ALL OF OUR FISH, EVEN THOUGH THE FLIGHT FROM DFW TO TULSA WAS DELAYED 3 HOURS.

WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AND YOU GUYS RUN A GREAT BUSINESS.

I MET A MAN FROM DALLAS ON THE FLIGHT BACK AND HE FISHED WITH SITKA POINT LODGE BUT THE MORE WE TALKED WE GOT TO TALKING ABOUT COMING BACK NEXT YEAR TOGETHER AND FISH WITH YOU'ALL.

I'LL KEEP YOU POSTED AS I JUST SENT OUT PICTURES TO ALL MY PADRE ISLAND FRIENDS AND I MAY HAVE SOME MORE COMPANY.

ONE WAY OR THE OTHER WE ENJOYED YOU GUYS SO MUCH I KNOW WE'LL MAKE A RETURN TRIP.....

HAVE A GREAT SUMMER AND TELL TYLER AND DAVE THANKS TOO.........

RUSS & REBA
Well it's about as pretty as a fish can be . Russ Edwards & his Wild Alaskan King Salmon

Incredible

Russ came to us as a "Single Angler" - Reba his wife joined him in Sitka but choose to view the local "color" and remain on land. We hooked Russ up with co-anglers Kevin & Connie Deitsch & Arlen (a.k.a. Punky) Thomas.
Alaskan Halibut - Russ - hailing from Oklahoma fishes the warmer waters of our counntry - when he caught this 65 lb'er - I saw a very happy man.
Another beauty! You know he was happy with his 65lb. halibut!

Then he harvested this beauty!

This halibut yielded the Edwards family about 50lbs. of gorgeous halibut fillets.

We package your "catch" in portions for two. It will be Vacuum sealed in a 4mil pouch, labeled & frozen to -25 degrees. Then carefully packaged for your flight home.

From Russ "WANTED YOU TO KNOW WE MADE IT HOME ABOUT MIDNITE LAST NITE WITH ALL OF OUR FISH, EVEN THOUGH THE FLIGHT FROM DFW TO TULSA WAS DELAYED 3 HOURS."

Russ's fish (SALMON, HALIBUT, LING COD, ROCK FISH & YELLOW EYE all arrived home in excellent condition ...

Doug Vandas : Doug Harvested this 45 pound Halibut which is perfect in size. It's not a breeder & the yeild on the the finished weight is very nice ~ this will give them the quality of meat you'd get in your finer restaurants.

Nice job Doug!
Beautiful King Salmon harvested by Andy cook ~ SCORE!
